BIPOC (BLACK, INDIGENOUS, PEOPLE OF COLOR)

  • The relationship with your therapist has a significant impact on whether you will find therapy effective. As a Black woman, and a therapist in a largely white dominated field, I know how important it is to foster this therapeutic alliance. For that reason, I want to center and focus on building connections and providing support within communities of color.
  • Given the racial demonstrations and injustices that came to light during 2020, I want to provide a space for healing and help clients acquire the tools to navigate this tumultuous world and face everyday challenges.
  • I work to provide a safe place for you to share and express your experiences with injustice, whether it be at work or your daily life, it is safe to share your experiences of oppression, discrimination, and racism. Together we can explore ways you may need to advocate for yourself and your community.
