ABOUT ME

Candace Fleming, M.E.d., LPC
Candace graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in French and earned her M.Ed. in Community Agency Counseling from George Mason University. She comes with several years of experience in the treatment of addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.
Candace’s approach to psychotherapy and addiction counseling is practical and empathetic. She strives to honor the uniqueness of each of her clients in order to promote healing and recovery. In sessions, mindfulness and solution-oriented approaches are used to guide clients toward uncovering their inner most resources to explore the past, solve current difficulties, and change their pattern of behaviors. With collaboration, treatment is customized to facilitate a proactive plan of action to help clients meet their goals.
MY TRAINING IS IN ATTACHMENT AND EMOTIONALLY FOCUSED THERAPY. I SPECIALIZE IN SUBSTANCE USE AND MOOD DISORDERS.
